Denise Campbell 

Denise is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Denise has been a practicing counselor for over seven years. She began working with adolescents in residential treatment, moved on to working in community mental health both in person and virtually. Currently Denise sees clients individually via virtual or in-person setting as well as conducting parent and family sessions. She is also responsible for Family Life Training, a group that meets weekly with all of the parents involved in our residential program. Denise strives to meet her clients where they are using a systems approach to therapy. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and God’s word to invoke positive change. 

Denise enjoys working with parents, couples, and families who are striving to improve their relationships. She also enjoys working with individuals, both children and adults needing to improve their ability to reduce stress and worry, feel safe, and trust others. Denise is passionate about using a holistic, strengths-based approach to help clients achieve their potential, reach their goals, and find hope and healing along their journey. 

Denise has specialized training in Prepare/Enrich for couples, and trauma training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
