parenting workshops

House of Hope of NC will also come to you! We offer parenting workshops for our community as well. Does your church, business, or peer group desire more effective and focused parenting support?  Great! We can help with that. Our class addresses issues such as listening skills, conflict resolution, personality differences and parenting skills. Interactive activities are also included to help in the restoration and understanding process.

Come for a full day of teaching and skill building designed for parents of children of all ages.  At House of Hope of NC we believe in equipping parents for the task of leading and guiding their children into productive, healthy lives. We invite you to join us for this exciting opportunity to learn and grow as leaders of your family.

In this workshop, we will explore:

- Teaching and modeling healthy relationships and structure within the family

- Strategies for effective discipline and encouragement

- Parenting techniques that work for every family member

House of Hope of NC works with families all over Wake, Durham, Johnston and other surrounding counties, providing therapeutic services through our counseling center and community outreach programs for children, teens, young adults, and parents, as well as a residential program for girls ages 12-17.  We believe in reconciliation and healing and our hope is to provide our community with multiple services in which this message of redemption can be shared in real and practical ways, with the guidance of clinical excellence.
