WHO WE SERVE
House of Hope is a Christian therapeutic school, home, and counseling center for hurting and troubled girls, ages 12-17 and their families. When there is a hurting teenage girl in a family, the entire family is affected and the entire family needs help.

We use the term hurting and troubled because the girls at House of Hope may have been in trouble (with the law, their parents, or their peers) but their actions stem from a deeper hurt that has not healed. House of Hope addresses such hurts as the following:
  • Sexual, Physical, or Emotional Abuse
  • Divorce
  • Early Sexual Promiscuity
  • Post Abortion Trauma
  • Cutting and other self-inflicted injuries
  • Depression
  • Eating Disorders
  • Substance Abuse
  • Anger & Rebellion

Since 1998, we have served approx. 50 families (over 100 people including girls, parents, step-parents and siblings) within a 3-4 hour radius of Clayton. We currently have a full program with 7 families in the residential program, 3 families receiving outpatient services and a growing waiting list. Our goal is to help heal each family member and bring reconciliation to the family as a whole by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
